To insert a reticle into an eyepiece:

- There is an indentation in the bottom part (reticle holder) of the eypiece large enough to fit the appropriate reticle. However, you will have to appy an adhesive to prevent it from falling or moving when you replace the bottom of the eyepiece.
- Be sure to use a suitable adhesive that can be dissolved with alcohol such as GE Silicon Rubber, Nejilok or Duco Cement. Apply a thin layer of adhesive and position the reticle in the idented space as quickly as possible.

- When removing the reticle, use alcohol to dissolve the adhesive and be sure to clean the surface around the reticle with alcohol to remove any remaining adhesive.
Since the reticle holder (bottom) of the 10x and 15x eyepieces (83330 and 83331) are made of plastic and could be damaged by using strong solvents we do not recommend that you use anything but alcohol to remove adhesive. |
